2021 J Lohr Riverstone Chardonnay

2022 Shun Yi Santa Lucia Highlands Chardonnay

2022 shared some of the drama of the 2020 growing season. It started cold, especially on the North Coast, where there were many instances of late frost. While no frost was damaged in the Santa Lucia Highlands, the growing season started slowly. Once it warmed up, it stayed warm; the vines caught up, and that, combined with low yields and a fierce Labor Day heat wave, led to an early harvest.
