The 2022 Fournier Père & Fils Sancerre “Les Monts Damnés” Blanc A.O.P. is a refined Sauvignon Blanc from one of Sancerre’s most prestigious single-vineyard sites, known for its steep chalky slopes and high altitude. It opens with vibrant citrus aromas of grapefruit, mandarin, and lime zest, lifted by delicate notes of wildflowers. On the palate, the wine is crisp, mineral-driven, and elegant, with a pronounced flinty backbone that reflects the terres blanches terroir. The balance of purity, intensity, and refreshing acidity gives it both finesse and depth, making it highly food-friendly and age-worthy. This 2022 vintage has been praised for its precision and lively character, earning strong critical acclaim (93 points from Wine Enthusiast and 92 from James Suckling).

Domaine Fournier Père et Fils has been a cornerstone of the Sancerre appellation since its founding in 1926 in Verdigny, at the heart of the Loire Valley.
