Still young, with toast aromas and shining white-fruit flavors, the latest release of Cristal is just setting out. A dry, tight core of intense flavors are shot through with minerality from the pure chalk soil of the 45 individual parcels in the blend. Drink this wine from 2025. Organic.

About Winery

Louis Roederer Champagne was founded in 1776 in Reims, France, originally as Dubois Père & Fils. In 1833, Louis Roederer took over and renamed the house, pioneering a unique approach by acquiring vineyards to control grape quality—a rare move at the time. The brand gained international fame, especially in Russia, where Tsar Alexander II commissioned the creation of Cristal in 1876, the first prestige cuvée. Despite historical challenges like the Russian Revolution and Prohibition, Roederer remained resilient and family-owned. Today, it stands as one of the few independent Champagne houses, known for its commitment to biodynamic viticulture and producing world-renowned cuvées like Cristal.
