Collection: Domaine Pinson Freres

Domaine Pinson Frères is one of the oldest wine-producing families in Chablis, France, with a rich history that dates back several centuries:

The Pinson family has been cultivating vines in Chablis since 1580, making them one of the oldest winemaking families in the region

The domaine was historically known as Domaine Louis Pinson, named after a key figure who retired in 1983

  • Over the centuries, the family expanded their holdings and refined their winemaking techniques.
  • In the 20th century, Louis Pinson played a pivotal role in modernizing the estate. After his retirement, his descendants, including Laurent and Christophe Pinson, took over and continued to grow the domaine

Modern Era

Today, the estate is run by Laurent Pinson and his daughter Charlène Pinson, who studied viticulture and oenology in Beaune

They manage 14 hectares of vineyards, including prestigious plots in Premier Cru (like Montmain, La Forêt, Mont de Milieu) and Grand Cru Les Clos and Les Preuses

Domaine Pinson practices sustainable viticulture, avoiding herbicides and pesticides, and has achieved High Environmental Value (HVE) Level 3 certification

Their winemaking approach blends tradition with innovation, using both stainless steel and oak barrels depending on the terroir and vintage
