Ingredients (serves 2):
- 300g ground chicken (or turkey)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 red chilies, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 handful Thai basil leaves
- Steamed jasmine rice, to serve
- Optional: fried egg on top
Steps:
- Heat oil in a wok or pan. Add garlic and chili, stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add ground chicken, cook until browned.
- Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
- Toss in Thai basil leaves, stir until just wilted.
- Serve hot over jasmine rice, topped with a fried egg if desired.
