2024 | Vivino 4.2

Opens with an expressive nose of citrus blossom, lemongrass, and flinty minerality, moving into a crisp, medium-bodied palate filled with vibrant green apple and sharp acidity, before concluding on a remarkably long, precise finish defined by a distinctly chalky, saline quality.

About Winery

Domaine Joseph Pascal is a prominent, family-owned Burgundy estate based in Puligny-Montrachet, currently run by fourth-generation winemaker Alexandra Pascal. The domain manages 15 hectares of sustainably farmed vineyards across prestigious appellations including Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Auxey-Duresses, and Volnay, working primarily with old vines planted between 1950 and 1980. Alongside their traditional winemaking, the family operates a major vine plant nursery that supplies over 500,000 seedlings annually to top estates throughout the region. In the cellar, they focus on a pure, mineral-driven style by utilizing native yeasts and a restrained 20–25% new oak aging regimen, which preserves the vibrant freshness, terroir expression, and bright orchard fruit of their classic white Burgundies.
