Rose & Arrow Estate is a boutique winery in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, founded with a deep commitment to exploring the terroir of the region through Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

🏔️ Founding & Philosophy

  • Founded in 2016 by Mark Tarlov, a visionary behind Evening Land Vineyards, in collaboration with Louis-Michel Liger-Belair, a Burgundian winemaker from Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair.
  • Their mission was to uncover the “true essence” of Oregon Pinot Noir and Chardonnay by studying the geological and climatic nuances of the region over a decade. 

🪨 Terroir Focus

  • The estate is known for its nine micro-plots of vineyards situated on weathered volcanic rock, which they believe imparts a unique tension and character to the wines. 
  • This geological precision is part of their philosophy that great wines are born from the tension between opposites—like acid and sweetness, simplicity and complexity, or solid rock and sprouting vine
